Set EventPro Planner Shortcut Parameters

You can set certain parameters for your shortcut so that EventPro Planner will open with certain properties.  For example, if your company has two different licenses for EventPro Planner, you can adjust the icons so that one will open with one license, and the other will open with the second license.

Find your EventPro Planner shortcut icon or find EventPro Planner in your program menu, right-click it and select Properties.  In the Target field, enter the appropriate parameters.

1./debug  This turns on debugging.
2./license=<license>  This loads the program with the indicated license.
3./database=<database>  This loads the program with the specified default database.
4./update  This updates the default Access database to the current version of the program (Standard edition only). This should only be run by itself or with /database.  Typically, you do not need to use this parameter.  If you have an IT department, they may want to run it to update the database after installing an update so that other users do not receive the “Update the Database” prompt.
5.Parameters can be passed in any order and any combination can be used, e.g. “C:\Program Files\EventPro Planner\EPlanner.exe” /debug /license=mssqllicence.ini /database=c:\data\sampdata.mdb.
6.If you are running multiple copies of EventPro Planner on your workstation, you should have one shortcut point to the EventProLoader, to update your workstation and ensure there are no discrepancies between the software version and system database version. E.g. "C:\Program Files\EventPro Planner\EPlannerLoader.exe"
