Register Exhibitors
Exhibitors can only be registered as attending an event by using registration groups (also referred to as registration packages). These registration groups or packages help you keep track of which exhibitors will be attending the event.
You would have created registration packages earlier while setting up the event under Event Setup. Review Chapter 5: Set Up an Event, Exhibitor Setup: Exhibitor Registrations. Now, you can register exhibitors in these registration groups.
This process will guide you through registering one exhibitor in a registration group. If you want to register multiple exhibitors in the same registration group, see Multi-Add Registration Groups below.

In the Event Maintenance screen, click on the Exhibitors tab and the View Exhibitors tab.

Find or select the Exhibitor you want to register and click on the Registrations tab in the bottom half of the screen.

Click the New button between the two selection grids under the Registration Details tab.

The Registration Item Selection window appears.

The window will open to the General tab, which contains a list of all registration groups available to this exhibitor. The Available, Charge, Quantity and Total fields will be empty at the moment. They will be filled when you later select the registration group(s) to which this exhibitor will belong. Use the Scroll Bar on the right to view additional registration items below.

At the top, the Date Booked will default to the Booked Date of the Exhibitor (see Add Exhibitors to Events: General, above), but you can choose another date from the drop-down calendar. Remember that the date booked may affect the charge for the registration, i.e. if you have set up an early bird or late registration fee.

From the Bill To drop-down list in the upper right corner, choose who will be billed for registration charges: Not Billable or Exhibitor.

Under Registration Items, select the checkbox next to the Registration Group to which you want to add this exhibitor. You can select more than one group, as long as the registration groups are not Mutually Exclusive.

When you check a Registration Group, the Available column will display how many spaces are left in the group and a Charge will default in. You can type in a new Charge, if you wish.

If necessary, enter a Quantity. The Totals will adjust accordingly. Note that you may have set up this registration package with a Max. Quantity, so that the exhibitor can only register for a limited number.

Click on the Taxes tab and select the applicable taxes. The EventPro Planner program taxes were set up earlier in Chapter 2: Setting Up EventPro Planner, Step 6: Taxes and event and default taxes were set up in Chapter 5: Set Up an Event,Event Taxes and Default Taxes.

When you are done with the registration groups for this exhibitor, click the Save button.

The Group(s) will appear under the Exhibitor’s Registrations tab. To the left, the selection grid displays the number of registrations Booked for this Exhibitor and the date the registrations were booked.
