Contract/Deposit Information

If you require a contract or deposit from your client, you can enter the required amounts and due dates in this area.  However, if you selected the Skip Contract/Deposit Wizard Page checkbox under the Events tab in System Settings, you will skip this page.

1.Enter the Contract #, which will be the number used by your organization to identify this event’s contract.
2.Enter the Required Days Before Event, which is the number of days prior to the event date that you require a signed contract from your client.
3.The Required By field automatically calculates the due date using the Required Days Before Event you entered above.
4.In the Returned On field, you will enter the date on which the signed contract was returned. If it has not been returned yet, you can go to the Event Maintenance screen at a later date and update this information.
5.The Status of the payment will automatically update to Not Required, Waiting, Overdue or Received as applicable.
6.Enter a Contact Date, which will be printed on the contract.
7.Select the Sent On date, which is the date the contract was sent or will be sent to the customer.  If you do not yet know when the contract will be sent, you can go to this event in the Event Maintenance screen at a later date and update the information.
8.Enter a P.O.# if applicable.

1.Enter the applicable Amount.
2.In the Required Days Before Event field, enter the number of days prior to the event date that you require a deposit from your client.  The Required By field automatically calculates the due date using the Required Days Before Event.
3.Enter the date on which the deposit is received in the Received On field.  If you have not yet received the deposit, you can leave it for now. When you receive the deposit, you can enter the correct date in this field.
4.The Status of the deposit will automatically update as appropriate to Not Required, Waiting, Overdue or Received.

When you have filled out any information you need on this page, click Next.

You will move on to the Notes page, unless your System Settings have been set to skip the page.
