Merge Companies

If you accidentally created duplicate companies and have added records to both versions of the company, e.g. contacts, actions, communications, etc., you can merge the two companies so that all the records are stored under one.

1.Go to the Company List View tab in the Company/Contacts screen.
2.Identify the companies you want to merge together.
3.Hold down the Ctrl key and click on each company so that they are all highlighted
4.Right-click on the company into which you want to move the other companies' records. It is important to right-click on the correct company. The other company/ies will have their records moved and those companies will be deleted. Select Merge Company.

5.The Confirm dialog appears.  If you are certain that you want to merge the companies, click Yes.
6.All of the records will be moved into the selected company's record, and the duplicate company or companies will be deleted.
