Locking the Online Event

The Lock Online Event function stops registrants from registering.  It is important to lock an online event before publishing an online event or importing attendees, so that you do not lose any information during the process.

1.In the Event Maintenance screen, click the Options button and select Lock Online Event.

2.The Confirm dialog will ask if you are sure you want to lock the online event.  Click Yes.
3.When it is done, the Information dialog will inform you that the event was successfully locked.  Click OK.
