Create Exhibitors from Attendees

1.In the Event Maintenance screen, click on the Attendees tab and select the View Attendees tab below.
2.Choose a multi-attendee view, such as All or one of the other sub-tabs that contain multiple attendees.
3.You can create exhibitors from all of the attendees in the view or you can limit the number of attendees:
a.Multi-Select: Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the attendees you want to include. A red dot will appear in the far left column of each selected record, and a dot and arrow will appear next to the last-selected record.
b.Filter: Set a filter so that only the attendees you want included appear in the selection grid.  To review how to set a filter, see Chapter 1: Overview, Common Functions: Filter Information above.
4.Click the Detail Options button to the right and select Create Exhibitor(s).

5.In the Create Exhibitors from Attendees dialog, click on a radio button to choose whether you want to create exhibitors from Selected Attendees or All  (Filtered) Attendees and click OK.
6.In the Company/Contact Duplicate Checking dialog, choose whether you want EventPro Planner to Prompt or Skip duplicates, and click OK.
7.EventPro Planner will create the exhibitors and place them in the Exhibitor tab. Go to the Exhibitor tab and find the new exhibitors.
8.When creating the exhibitors, EventPro Planner will first look at whether the attendee is associated with an existing Company ID.  If so, the exhibitor will be linked to that company and the attendee will be entered as a contact (if not already).
9.If the Attendee was not associated with a Company ID, but there is a Company entered in the Event Attendee [Edit] form, EventPro Planner will check if there is an existing company of that name.  If so, the exhibitor will be linked to the existing company.  If the company does not exist yet, EventPro Planner will create the company under that name, link the exhibitor to that new company and add the attendee as a contact.

10.If the Attendee was not associated with any existing company and there is no company entered in the attendee's information, the Exhibitor company will be created under the name EXHIBITOR: Attendee Name.

11.You can now edit the new Exhibitors as required.
