If the detail for a new event category template will be the same or similar to a template you have already created, you can copy all of the detail from the previous template to your new template. It is suggested that you copy the detail from another template first before adding more details to the new template, as copying a category will overwrite all existing detail. If you need to change or add details for the new event category, copy the detail from the existing category first and then add the new details.
| 1. | In the Event Category selection grid, select the category to which you want to add detail. |
| 2. | Click the Copy Category button to the right. |
| 3. | The Event Categories window appears. |

| 4. | Select the Event Category from which you want to copy details and click OK. |
| 5. | The Confirm dialog will warn you that copying the category will overwrite all existing sub-detail for the current event category. If you are sure you want to proceed, click Yes. |
| 6. | All of the details from the existing category will be copied and added to the current event category. You can now add or alter the details in the current event category as necessary. |
