Copy Template - Functions
If you created Event Category Templates, you can add a set of pre-defined functions in one quick step using a template. To learn how to set up templates, refer to Chapter 16: Event Category Templates, Create Functions.
1.
In the EventSetup window, under the Organization Setup | Functions tab, click the Copy Template button to the right of the selection grid.

In the Function Templates dialog, select the template you want to use and click OK.

In the Copy Event Functions dialog, select a radio button to indicate whether you want to Append to Existing Only, Append to and Update Existing or Overwrite ExistingCompletely. Click OK.

In the Confirm dialog, click Yes to continue copying the template.

The functions from the template will appear in the selection grid. If there were tables added to the function template, they will also be added to the functions in the event. You can now edit and delete these functions as required or add more functions by following the instructions above.
