Copy Day, Copy Details or Move Details

Copy Day: Use this function to copy all of the locations, functions and resource items from one day and apply them to the date(s) you select.

Copy Details: Use this function to copy all of the details from one function and apply them to the function(s) you select.

Move details: Use this function to completely transfer resources from one function to another.

If one day of an event will be very similar to another, you can save the time of booking the locations, functions and details for each day by using the Copy Day function.

Copy Day will copy all of the locations, functions and resource items from one day and apply them to the date(s) you select.

1.Under the Organization tab, use the drop-down list to select the day you want to copy details from.
2.Click the Copy Day button:
a.Calendar View: In the column to the left of the calendar, click the Calendar Tasks button and select Copy Day.

b.Detail View:  Click the Copy Day button to the right of the Locations grid.

3.The Event Dates dialog appears. In the Event Dates dialog, check the box(es) next to the date(s) to which you want to copy the selected date.  Click OK.

4.In the Confirm dialog, click Yes to continue with the copy of all event details.
5.The selected dates will now have all of the locations, functions, resource items and attendees that were in the copied event date.  You can edit these details in each date to reflect any differences between the event dates.

If one function of an event will be very similar to another, you can save the time of booking the details for each function by using the Copy Details function.

Copy Details will copy all of the details from one function and apply them to the function(s) you select.

1.Under the Organization tab, use the drop-down list to select the day containing the function you want to copy.
2.Find the function you want to copy details from and click the Copy Details button:
a.Calendar View: Click to highlight the function from which you want to copy details.  From the left column, click the Calendar Tasks button and select Copy Details.  You can also right-click the function and select Copy Details from the speed menu.

b.Detail View: From the Locations selection grid, select the venue location that contains the function you want to copy, and select the function from the Functions selection grid in the lower left corner.  Click the Copy Details button to the right of the Functions selection grid.

c.Function View:  Select the function containing the resources you want to copy and click the Copy Details button to the right.

3.In the Event Functions dialog, check the box(es) next to the function(s) to which you want to copy the details of the selected function.  Click OK.

4.In the Confirm dialog, click Yes to continue with the copy of all function details.
5.The details will be added to the functions you selected.

If you want to completely transfer resources from one function to another, you can use the Move Details function.

1.Under the Organization tab, use the drop-down list to select the day containing the function from which you want to move resources items.
2.Find the function you want to move resources from and click the Move Details button.
a.Calendar View: Click to highlight the function from which you want to move resources.  In the left column, click the Calendar Tasks button and select Move Details.  You can also right-click the function and select Move Details from the speed menu.

b.Detail View: From the Locations grid, select the venue location that contains the function from which you want to move resources and then select the function from the Functions selection grid.  Click the Move Details button to the right of the Functions grid.

c.Function View: Select the function containing the resources you want to move and click the Move Details button to the right.

3.In the Event Functions dialog, select the function to which you want to move the resources of the current function.  Click OK.

4.In the Confirm dialog, click Yes to continue with the move of the details.
5.The details will be removed from the current function and placed in the other function you selected.
