1.Contact Name and User Name: From the drop-down lists, choose the order in which you want the first and last names of contacts and users to appear.
2.Contact Greeting Format: From the drop-down list, choose how you want contact names to appear in greetings, e.g. “Mr. Smith” or “Bob Smith”, etc.
3.Attendee Badge Format: From the drop-down list, choose how you want attendee names to appear on name badges, e.g. “Bob Smith” or “Bob”, etc.

1.You can define 3 different sets of fields that you want checked for duplication when entering companies.
2.Select Duplicate Check List 1, 2 or 3 from the drop-down list.
3.In the three Duplicate Check Fields for each list, select the fields that you want checked for duplication.

When you later add companies, the Company [New] window usually has tabs along the top.  You click on the tabs under which you want to enter information.

However, if you select the Use Company Wizard checkbox here in system settings, users will be guided through a wizard when creating companies.  Note that instead of tabs along the top, there are Back, Next and Finish buttons at the bottom of the window.

Using the wizard will encourage users to go through every screen in the Company [New] window.

If you want to allow the user to finish before working through all the screens (General, Classification, Billing Information, Notes and User Fields), you can choose the screen on which the Finish button becomes available; select the relevant screen from the Show Finish Button On drop-down list.  Note that even though the Finish button becomes available on the selected screen, the user can still use the Next button to click through the remaining screens.

To create new companies, see Chapter 3: Companies/Contacts, Enter a New Company.

Check the Show all companies/contacts on grid by default checkbox if you always want the Company/Contacts Screen to display all companies and contacts.

Remember, if you make any changes you want to keep, ensure that you click the Save button.

Clicking Cancel will revert to the previously saved settings.
